Welcome to Tampere! We wish everyone a successful competition.
Competition venue
The competition will take place at Tampere stadium, or as the locals like to call it, Ratina stadium.

Technical Information Centre (TIC)
The technical information center (TIC) is located inside Tampere stadium. The easiest way to access the TIC is from the central section of the parking area on Ratinan rantatie. Upon entering, the TIC is on the left-hand side.
Bib numbers
Bib numbers will be provided at the hotel.
Call room
Access to the field is only via the call room, located on the upper level of the stadium next to the warm-up area.
Athletes are not allowed to use electronic devices in the competition area. All devices must be kept in a bag during the competition.

Official and personal throwing equipment
Organizers provide a wide selection of throwing implements.
Athletes may bring up to 2 personal implements, which must be pre-approved and re-inspected by the organizers.
Implements must be brought to the Technical Information Centre (TIC) at least 90 minutes before the event starts. Implements submitted later will not be accepted.
All athletes may use the approved throwing implements. Personal implements can be collected from the throwing area after the event. Unclaimed implements may be picked up from the TIC.

Use of throwing implements is not allowed.
Changing rooms
Athletes’ changing rooms are located on the second floor of the stadium.
Exiting the competition area
In field events, athletes will be guided off the field via the mixed zone after their event. In running events, athletes will also exit through the mixed zone. Athletes’ gear baskets are located at the end of the mixed zone.
Athletes may use the restrooms during the competition but must obtain permission from an official.
Athlete introductions
In running events, athletes will be introduced at the starting line approximately 2 minutes before the start. In field events, introductions will take place in about 2–4 minutes before the event begins.
First aid
The first aid station is located near the 60 m start line, under the stadium grandstand.
Protests
Oral protests must be made immediately to the event referee.
If the athlete disagrees with the referee’s decision, the athlete or their representative may submit a written protest to the jury of appeal. The protest must be submitted to the TIC. The deadline for submitting a protest is 30 minutes after the results are published.
The protest fee is 100 euros, payable by cash or card at the time of submission. This fee is non-refundable if the protest is not upheld.
The jury’s written decision is final and can be obtained from the TIC.
Price money
Anti-doping
The SUEK anti-doping agency will be present.
Athletes selected for doping tests must bring a photo ID (e.g., passport or driver’s license). One assistant may accompany the athlete if desired.
Technical meeting
There will be no technical meeting. Questions can be emailed to the competition director by 12:00 on the day of the competition.
Wireless network
A free wireless network called “Seutu Wireless” is available at the stadium. Log in with your phone number or email address.
